UNDP GEF SGP Project

KOAN, Earth Oil and Kenya Organic Oil Farmers Association (KOOFA) are funded by UNDP GEF SGP to promote organic of Tea Tree production in Nanyuki Laikipia County. The project also target to introduce new crops like Borage, Rose geranium, cape chest nuts and evening primrose among others to diversify source of income and food security in the area. The project will take place July 2014 and November 2015. The project will directly benefit 500 farmers new farmers.
